Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:00 - 06:30) Experience: 1 year License: South Carolina Clienttion License (must have by start date) Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT) Must-Have: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT) Description: The Computed Tomography Technologist reports to the manager of CT. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations. Examinations are conducted in accordance with established protocols. Patient populations range from infants to geriatrics for interpretation by a physician. The shift is three 12-hour night shifts from Friday to Sunday. On-call rotation is required among staff members Monday through Thursday. Travelers are not required to float between service lines. The institution performs inpatient, ER, and scheduled interventional cases. Required skills include starting IVs, administering contrast, and conducting biopsies. Experience with PACS system is needed. Candidates must graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology. First-time travelers are accepted. Pending state licenses are acceptable, but candidates must have the license in hand by the start date. Clienttion badges must be provided by the agency. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, assignments may involve emergency response. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Capable of performing all required duties in a busy and fast-paced environment. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. All candidates must adhere to facility policies and procedures. The institution prioritizes non-local candidates first while accepting locals on a case-by-case basis. RTO and time off must be planned accordingly to avoid conflicts with the assignment.
