Job Opportunity – MRI Technologist – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Napa Valley region, Northern California

Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM start). Weekend call coverage required, typically Saturdays 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Assignment duration is 13 weeks.

Highlights:

• Work with GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima MRI equipment
• Perform diverse imaging including neuro, MSK, abdomen, MRCPs, and breast exams (no cardiac)
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in both acute care and outpatient settings
• Flexible scheduling options available – 10-hour or 8-hour shifts may be discussed
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment
• Community hospital setting with comprehensive imaging services

Requirements:

• California Certification for Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• ARRT in Radiology (R) required; ARRT in MRI (MR) preferred
• BLS certification required
• California IV certification preferred prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency with gradient echo imaging, spin echo images, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, and image post-processing techniques
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, and starting peripheral IVs
• Clean background check required
