Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: ARRT (R) Certifications: Required Description: General comments about the unit(s): Number of beds: 800. Number of staff varies by shift, day, or week. Day shift typically has 5 staff technologists and a supervisor. Evening shift typically has 4-5 technologists and a radiology assistant. Night shift typically has 2-3 staff and a radiology assistant. Type of equipment includes GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, and Medrad injectors. The EMR system in use is Cerner Rad Net and Philips PACS. Typical hiring profile skill set: Candidates must have skills in all areas of CT imaging, including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures. Skills in emergency department trauma and stroke imaging are essential. Candidates with GE experience, invasive CT experience, cardiac imaging skills, and venipuncture skills will be given preference. Typical procedures performed include neuro, musculoskeletal, body imaging, and invasive cardiac imaging. Pediatric imaging is also performed. Best personality fit: A team player who can also work independently. Self-motivated individuals are encouraged to apply. Dress code: Scrub color/attire is black. Weekends and on-call information: Possible weekend shifts. Possible rotation to another shift. Potential on-call availability of 12 hours per month. Position creation reason: Contractor Replacement.
