Travel CT Tech - $2,346 per week in Amarillo, TX

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience License: TX State License Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, CMRT Must-Have: Proficiency in perfusion scanning for strokes and trauma patients. Ability to transport patients. Comfortable working in a high-paced environment. Experience with Siemens Somatom AS and Canon Aquilon One CT scanners. Description: Block schedule Tuesday to Friday for 4x10 hour shifts. The unit accepts first-time travelers. The role involves a high volume of general CT, CTA, CT perfusion, and CT cardiac procedures. Skills required include abdomen scans with and without contrast, brain perfusion studies, and vascular CTA. Candidates should be experienced in drainage, biopsies, and emergency department procedures. Familiarity with PACS and preparation or administration of contrast media is preferred. The position requires working with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census for the unit is approximately 168 cases. High-volume environment experience is essential.
