Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM), 13-week assignment. Daily caseload of approximately 20 patients. Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

Highlights:
  • Trauma Level III facility performing comprehensive CT exams with and without contrast
  • Work with all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics in a 3-room CT department
  • Interdisciplinary support including radiology teams, lift teams, rapid response, and transportation services
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • One pre-approved time off period available during assignment
  • May float to affiliate facilities within the region as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required
  • Valid California radiologic technologist license in hand prior to submission
  • ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications required
  • Fluoroscopy permit required
  • Proficiency in abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, carotid, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic CT imaging
  • Experience with contrast administration, venipuncture, and starting peripheral IVs
  • Competency in emergency department, ICU, trauma, and acute care settings
  • Knowledge of radiation safety, PACS, and multiplanar reconstruction
  • Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
  • Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
