Location: Eureka, California
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM), 13-week assignment. Daily caseload of approximately 20 patients. Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
Highlights:- Trauma Level III facility performing comprehensive CT exams with and without contrast
- Work with all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics in a 3-room CT department
- Interdisciplinary support including radiology teams, lift teams, rapid response, and transportation services
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- One pre-approved time off period available during assignment
- May float to affiliate facilities within the region as needed
Requirements:- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required
- Valid California radiologic technologist license in hand prior to submission
- ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications required
- Fluoroscopy permit required
- Proficiency in abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, carotid, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic CT imaging
- Experience with contrast administration, venipuncture, and starting peripheral IVs
- Competency in emergency department, ICU, trauma, and acute care settings
- Knowledge of radiation safety, PACS, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
