Key Responsibilities of the Travel CT Technologist:
- Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education before, during, and after procedures
- Operate CT scanners and related imaging systems, troubleshooting technical issues as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to ensure accurate diagnostic results
- Maintain equipment and adhere to all radiation safety and hospital standards
- Accurately document patient information and exam details in electronic health records
Requirements of the Travel CT Technologist:
- Active ARRT (R)(CT) certification
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience in an acute care setting
- Strong technical proficiency, communication skills, and attention to detail
