The Emergency Department typically sees an average of 40 patients in a 24-hour day, with a high of 63 patients seen in a day. This is an acute care environment with a focus on patient care in various departments. The candidate will be responsible for performing imaging procedures that support patient diagnosis and treatment. There are no scheduled outpatient procedures or interventional radiology involved in this position. The work will primarily address the needs of acute care scenarios within the hospital setting. Special equipment used in this role includes various x-ray and portable imaging technologies. Interdisciplinary support is available from various clinical services to enhance patient care.
