Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required Certifications: ARRT (R)(CT), BLS required Must-Have: - Driver's license and utility bill must be included with submission. - Address must be greater than 75 miles from the contracted facility. - No more than 5 days of time off request will be accepted. - Current and valid documentation is required. - Willingness to float to other areas if needed. Description: The role requires expertise as a CT Tech within the field of radiology and cardiology. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time applicants are accepted. The candidate should be capable of performing CT scans of various body regions, including abdomen, chest, pelvis, head, and spine, with and without contrast. Experience with different CT scanner types such as GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba is preferred. The applicant should be knowledgeable about isolation precautions and the preparation and administration of contrast media. The population served includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census and patient care require interaction with interdisciplinary support teams. Candidates will utilize charting systems, primarily Epic. The unit comprises both outpatient and inpatient services, including emergency services. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to manage patient care effectively. All candidates must adhere to compliance standards and meet mandatory vaccination requirements.
