Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour and Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10:00 - 22:30 / 12:00 - 22:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year as X-Ray tech or CT Tech required License: Active Compact or State License in hand required Certifications: ARRT, AHA BLS Must-Have: Experience with GE and PACS required; Meditech EMR experience preferred Description: 1 year or more experience as an X-Ray tech or CT Tech is required. Experience with GE and PACS is required. Meditech EMR experience is preferred. The schedule includes a rotation of 10-hour and 12-hour shifts. 36 to 44 hours per pay period. Floating within the scope of practice is required. Every other weekend coverage is required. Orientation is provided bi-weekly. Travelers must reside within 75 miles of the facility. Candidates must be willing to work a split shift schedule. Ratios can fluctuate based on census and call-ins. Specialized skills include 3D rendering, coronary CTA, and preparation/administering contrast media. Preferred experience includes working in Level I and II trauma centers. Candidates must have the ability to work with a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. References must be provided, including one from a charge nurse or higher and one from a supervisor. Background checks will be required. Travelers must take a minimum 6-month break after completing one year of service.
