Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist
Conduct and evaluate complex CT procedures ensuring top quality and accurate results.
Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and colleagues to maintain a professional work environment.
Perform Quality Control tests as per ACR and manufacturer requirements.
Apply expert knowledge of anatomy and pathology to effectively perform CT imaging.
Maintain organized and precise records following hospital protocols.
Requirements of the CT Technologist
Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology
Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; CT experience preferred
Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS or equivalent
Proficient in patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
