Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required License: Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography Certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS, ARRT Must-Have: GE CT scanner experience preferred but not required Description: Under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead, the CT technologist performs diagnostic CT procedures at a high level of proficiency. The technologist follows established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines. The CT technologist ensures patient safety in all procedures. Excellent customer service is a priority. Skill sets required include CT scanning at a high level of proficiency. The ability to administer IV and oral/GI contrast is necessary. Effective response in an emergency is critical. EMR documentation capabilities are required. Effective communication and organization skills are essential. A professional and positive demeanor is expected. Experience using EMR charting systems such as Epic and Visage is preferred. Rotating shifts may be required.
