Description

American Traveler is hiring a Multimodality (X-Ray & CT) Technologist for an acute care hospital, requiring 1+ year of CT experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting supporting Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, and Emergency Department patients
• 4x10 hour night shifts, Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 PM-7:30 AM
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirement
• No floating required between units or sister facilities
• Uses Epic for charting and Sectra for PACS
• Performs CT imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest including vascular studies (CTA, PE protocols)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• BLS and ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• SCRQSA (CT) and SCRQSA (R) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic experience required
• Radiation badge required, must be provided by the agency
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Proficient with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
• Experience with PACS and Siemens equipment preferred
• Vascular CTA experience preferred

• Employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season (June-November, peak August-September)
• Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies, with non-local candidates prioritized
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration for approval
