Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:30 - 20:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred, travel experience required, charting system experience required Description: Perform CT examinations using a Siemens Force CT scanner. Complete daily quality assurance documentation. Prepare and educate patients for CT procedures. Administer contrast and dose patients according to protocol. Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and excellent customer service. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the multidisciplinary care team to provide timely, accurate imaging services. Department modalities include CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and X-Ray. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census and unit details require flexibility and teamwork. Responsibilities may include special procedures such as cardiac exams and biopsies. Candidates must complete fingerprinting as part of credentialing. References required include two professional references; one must be from a manager or supervisor. Education must be from an accredited program. All candidates are required to acknowledge compliance processes and deadlines.
