This is a CT Tech position at LBH Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland
The department serves pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
CT Techs perform diagnostic CT scans, review requisitions, select appropriate imaging protocols and administer oral and IV contrast as appropriate
Any additional experience requirements?
Adult acute care, adult outpatient, Emergency Department and pediatric acute care experience are required
Adult ICU experience is required
Experience with abdominal, pelvic, chest and head CT imaging with and without contrast is required
Contrast media preparation and administration experience is required
Brain perfusion, coronary CTA and vascular CTA experience are required
Required experience in: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction
Cervical, lumbar, thoracic and musculoskeletal trauma imaging experience is required
Operating Room, NICU and PICU experience are preferred
GE, Siemens and PACS experience are required...

Special Procedures/Unit Details : Performs cat scan procedures using prescribed techniques. Reviews requisitions to ensure completeness verifying patient name, diagnosis, description of requested exam, etc.; adjusts equipment and selects appropriate technical factors to produce proper radiographic exposure; utilizes standard positioning techniques to obtain an optimal diagnostic image. Selects appropriate protocol for each CT scan procedure; ensures proper levels of density and contrast are utilized to obtain and optimal quality image. Performs scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process. Complete examination in a timely manner, orders IV and oral contrast in powerchart. Documents administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner. Perform exam completion, complete screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner.

Modules are completed virtually on first day of contract, and vary by specialty
Annual modules are required for: Non-TELE RN units - 75min., TELE RN
ICU RN - 115 min., and ED RN 175min
