CT Technologist | Silverdale, WA | 13 Weeks Contract

Position: CT Technologist
Location: Silverdale
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 3×12
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay:$2500 to $2700
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
Prepare patients by explaining procedures, reviewing medical history, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images
Administer contrast media safely while monitoring patients for adverse reactions
Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment while maintaining image quality standards
Evaluate completed scans for diagnostic quality before submitting images for interpretation
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
Follow radiation safety guidelines, infection prevention protocols, and departmental policies
Perform routine quality control checks and report equipment issues when necessary
Provide compassionate care to patients in both routine and emergency imaging situations
Requirements
Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility, as applicable)
ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred or required by facility
Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
Current BLS Certification required
Experience performing a wide range of CT procedures in an acute care setting
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, contrast administration, and radiation safety practices
Experience using PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Excellent communication, patient care, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department
