CT Technologist | Silverdale, WA | 13 Weeks Contract

  • Weekly Pay:$2500 to $2700
Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Prepare patients by explaining procedures, reviewing medical history, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
  • Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images
  • Administer contrast media safely while monitoring patients for adverse reactions
  • Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment while maintaining image quality standards
  • Evaluate completed scans for diagnostic quality before submitting images for interpretation
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines, infection prevention protocols, and departmental policies
  • Perform routine quality control checks and report equipment issues when necessary
  • Provide compassionate care to patients in both routine and emergency imaging situations
Requirements
  • Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility, as applicable)
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
  • ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred or required by facility
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Experience performing a wide range of CT procedures in an acute care setting
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, contrast administration, and radiation safety practices
  • Experience using PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department
