SimpliFi Interview & Manager for Second InterviewGeneral Information: Very busy Level II Trauma Center with possible conversion to Level I soon. Just as busy and high acuity as Level I Trauma Center. Please ensure travelers understand this will be fast-paced and high acuity. Number of Beds (if applicable): 492 Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes, if strong experience with the required skills. Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with at least 2-years experience with the required skills. Patient Types: Inpatient and outpatient, Adult and occasionally pediatrics (outpatients/ED) Patient Ratios: 1:1 Varies average 4 patients/hour (40 patients per day) Required Certifications: BLS required for all ARRT required for all CT Tech: ARRT-CT required Skills required: 3-4 CT Techs on Days, 2 CT Techs on 2nd and 3rd shifts, 2-3 CT Techs with assistant on weekends CT: Biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram (required), stroke perfusion experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED) Technology/Equipment: The rad techs purchase their own markers. EMR: Cerner CT All GE Floating: If yes, where? Yes, throughout the hospital. Traveler will work in the main Radiology department but in different areas of the department. Orientation: 1 8-hour hospital orientation, 2-3 shifts on unit. (Dayshift w/another tech). Please ensure travelers understand this. Scheduling: Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy Holiday Expectations: This does not mean they will automatically be scheduled for those dates, but we will not contractually guarantee to being off prior to arrival. Weekend rotation: Varies (typically once a month but subject to change based on departmental needs) On call requirement: Voluntary Holiday Expectations: Varies, per hospital policy o RTO approval: Email Manager for approval if traveler is requesting more than 7 days off.
