The role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues used to diagnose medical conditions. You will perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatrics. Producing sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation is required. Utilizing PACS and a teleradiology system to transfer images accurately is a key responsibility. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient confidentiality in line with regulations is essential. Routine maintenance and calibration of equipment, as well as managing supply inventory, will be part of your duties. Additional job-related tasks may be assigned as needed.
