Job Dual Modality CT/Rad Tech is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images using advanced imaging and computer equipment in accordance with professional standards. This role requires in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, imaging techniques, and radiation safety. The technologist prepares and educates patients, ensures appropriate age care, and maintains strict adherence to infection control and quality protocols. Additionally, they may oversee and mentor students during clinical training.
Job Responsibilities:-Verify exam orders and assess appropriateness using patient data and developmental considerations.-Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality.-Operate imaging, computer, and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.-Collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and determine the need for additional imaging.-Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff.-Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, imaging techniques, and image quality standards.-Educate patients about procedures and respond to questions or concerns in an age-appropriate manner.-Ensure communication, safety, and care are tailored to the patient s developmental stage.-Maintain infection control and quality control standards in all imaging procedures.-Supervise and train students during clinical rotations, ensuring safe and effective patient care. null
