Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: Late August 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, primarily Monday-Friday with 1-2 Saturdays per month. Variable shift times between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM based on imaging center needs. Daily census of 60-80 patients across 4 rooms. Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period.

Requirements:
  • Active Alaska state license or willingness to obtain (processing takes 10-12 weeks)
  • Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Previous travel experience preferred
  • Proficiency in 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, and radiation safety protocols
  • Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
