Description

Title: CT Technologist

Location: Charlotte North Carolina

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 10hr Night Shift - 40 Shift Information: M-Th 2000-0630, weekend call rotation once every 7th week
Clinical Interviewing: No On Call, Call Back Requirements: yes Weekend Rotation: weekend call rotation once every 7th week Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work on holidays that fall on scheduled shifts Floating Requirements: TBD


About Facility:
  • 130 Licensed Beds
  • Stroke Center
  • Not Trauma designated – trauma patients transferred to CMC Main after stabilization
  • Not a Teaching hospital
  • Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Department Information: On average, how many scans are performed per day? Discussed during interview with Manager

Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year CT experience

Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types/Common Scans: All patient population will be served to include - ED, Inpatient, Observation, and Outpatient patients

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
  • BLS required
  • ARRT-CT required
  • NC State Licensure not required
Skills required: Discussed during interview with manager

Support within the Department:
  • Guest Services/Trasport for Inpatient & Observation patients that require transport to the department
  • Radiologist access 24/7
Technology/Equipment:
  • EMR: EPIC
  • RIS: Epic Radiant
  • PACS: Philips iSite
Department specific Equipment: Siemens

Floating: Is traveler required to float to other facilities? No

Orientation (facility and unit):
  • NEO
  • 2 days departmental
Scheduling:
  • Weekend rotation: None
  • No call
  • Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work on holidays that fall on scheduled shifts
  • RTO: Manager approval
  • Shift times: varies – shift will be on requisition
  • Schedule cycle: 13 weeks
