Travel CT Tech - $2,530 per week in Auburn, NY

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience License: Client license required Certifications: BLS Certification, ARRT CT certification preferred, NYS Injection Certification Must-Have: Recent, hands-on CT experience Description: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience. Local candidates will be accepted at a lower rate than travel candidates. Certifications must be active at the time of submission. All facility-required compliance items, including CEUs and pre-start training modules, are mandatory conditions of this assignment. These requirements must be completed prior to the start date and are not compensated or reimbursed. All compliance items must be fully completed by Tuesday at noon the week prior to the start date. If a candidate does not have all compliance submitted by this deadline, their start will be pushed to the following week. Candidates must ensure they are fully aware of this expectation early in the process. The compliance team is available to support and assist with timelines, but candidates must also be proactive and prepared to complete their items promptly. Travelers must have completed experience with various imaging techniques, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head, with and without contrast. The ability to prepare and administer contrast media along with starting peripheral IVs is required. Candidates should have experience with both adult and pediatric patients across various age groups. This position may involve working with a variety of imaging equipment from different manufacturers. Return travelers are eligible as long as they are in good standing. First-time travelers may be accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on experience. Requested time-off must be included in the initial submission. Any requests submitted after the offer will not be approved. Travel pairs may be considered but have faced scheduling issues in the past. Training for the EMR system will be provided. This position is suitable for candidates with experience in an acute care setting.
