General Certification Requirements: BLS - Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: RT (CT) - How many scanners/rooms does this department have: 1 - Will they have to float/cover any other areas: Yes to X-ray. - Common types of imaging/studies performed: Various- Head, Neck, Spines, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Extremities, CTAs, PE studies, run-offs. - Experience: Must have experience with head, neck, spines, chest, abdomen, pelvis, CTAs, PE studies. Prefer experience with run-offs. Must be able to start IVs. - Average # of scans/studies per day: 20 - EMR &/or PACS: Merge RIS/PACS. - Department Specific Equipment: Canon - Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Lead Tech - Do they use RRA's: Yes - Radiologist in-house: Radiologist on Tuesday AM, outside of that all readings are done in from Cumberland, Maryland. After hours and weekends send out for preliminary reading then their radiologists do final readings. - Do they have to start IV's: Yes- required. - Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts: 7-7. Manager does schedule. - Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend. - Holiday Requirements: Will fill in where needed. - Call or Standby requirement: No - Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific scrub color. - Department specific orientation: 1 week (3-12's).
