Job Description

Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. 26-week assignment with approximately 40 hours of orientation.

Highlights:
  • Work in a Level III Trauma facility performing comprehensive CT imaging procedures with and without contrast
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including radiology specialists, lift teams, rapid response teams, and transportation services
  • Gain experience with diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
  • Average daily caseload of 20 patients in a 3-room CT department
  • One pre-approved time off period available during contract
  • Opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology and complex trauma cases
Requirements:
  • Active ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Fluoroscopy Permit required
  • Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
  • Valid California state license or compact license in hand at time of submission
  • Proficiency in CT procedures including head, abdomen, pelvis, vascular CTA, trauma imaging, and contrast administration
  • Experience with PACS systems, multiplanar reconstruction, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
  • Preferred: Community hospital experience, Level I or II Trauma experience, fluoroscopy studies, enema studies, surgery/C-Arm, and emergency department experience
  • Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
