Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years outpatient experience required. License: Must be licensed in radiography. Certifications: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography. Must be licensed in CT or registered in CT by the ARRT. Requires BLS from the AHA within 90 days of hire. Must-Have: Experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon equipment. Epic charting experience is required. Description: Participates in various assigned tasks related to imaging technology. Performs diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography. This position requires an outpatient focus. The unit is staffed with three technologists at all times. There is a 24/7 transport team available. The skillset includes preparing and administering contrast media. Experience with starting peripheral IVs is necessary. Technologists will handle various studies, including but not limited to abdomen, chest, and vascular imaging. Knowledge of radiation safety is essential. This role may involve working with patients of all ages, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Though it is preferred, trauma level experience is not mandatory. Candidate availability must align with scheduling preferences. Applicants should be prepared to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities. Refusing to float may impact employment considerations.
