Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM), 13-week assignment. Daily caseload approximately 20 patients. Three-room CT department serving all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics.

  • Perform all types of CT exams with and without contrast across diverse patient populations
  • Collaborative interdisciplinary environment with radiology support, lift teams, rapid response teams, and transportation services
  • Opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology and complex trauma cases
  • One pre-approved time off period available during assignment
  • Potential to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
Requirements:
  • ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required
  • BLS certification required
  • Fluoroscopy permit required
  • Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required
  • Valid California state license or compact license in hand at time of submission
  • Experience with trauma imaging, emergency department, ICU, and acute care settings
  • Proficiency in contrast administration, venipuncture, and starting peripheral IVs
  • Competency in PACS, radiation safety, multiplanar reconstruction, and various CT protocols including head, abdomen, pelvis, vascular CTA, and musculoskeletal trauma
  • Preferred: Community hospital experience, trauma center experience, fluoroscopy studies, enema studies, surgery/C-Arm experience, and ARRT advanced certification
  • Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
