  • Weekly Pay: $2600 to $2800
Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Administer contrast media as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Operate CT scanners and imaging equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic images
  • Review image quality before submitting studies for radiologist interpretation
  • Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to minimize patient exposure
  • Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Perform routine equipment quality assurance checks and report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental policies
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Active California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT)
  • Current ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
  • ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT studies in an acute care setting
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic excellence
