Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 3 x 12s, no set days of the week, but they will be together. Start times vary - 6am, 7am Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Fluoroscopy license Must-Have: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT) Description: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location. Maintains accurate records and files. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to safety and well-being. Requires all associates to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
