Computed Tomography Technologist — Charlotte, NC (Hospital)

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification with advanced registry in CT.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to start peripheral IVs.
• Experience with venous and arterial phase scanning and multi-phase protocols.
• Experience with stroke imaging, including perfusion, and colorectal CT studies.
• Experience performing CT-guided invasive procedures and supporting anesthesia cases.
• Experience working in a hospital setting serving ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations.
• Familiarity with EPIC (EMR), Epic Radiant (RIS), and Philips iSite (PACS) preferred.
• TeraRecon knowledge preferred but not required.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Mid Shift, 1100-2100 (Mids, 4x10).
• Facility type: Hospital.
• Department volume: approximately 68 CT studies per day; higher on weekdays, lower on weekends.
• Scanners: Siemens Definition AS 64 and GE VCT 64.
• Power injectors: Bayer/Medrad.
• Patient populations served: Emergency Department, Inpatient, Observation, Outpatient.
• Department performs CT-guided invasive procedures and anesthesia cases as needed.
• Orientation: 1 day administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review).
• Floating: No.

About the Role

Perform CT scans according to physician orders, administer contrast agents, and operate CT equipment. Support a busy hospital radiology department that is TJC Stroke accredited and routinely operates near full inpatient capacity. Follow departmental protocols for multi-phase, perfusion, and specialty studies. Public safety and quality standards must be maintained at all times.
