Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting License: VA License/Compact required Certifications: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT Must-Have: - Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-ray. - Professional, friendly, and good communication skills. Description: Must have 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-ray modalities. Often single staff coverage for both modalities. Our patients are our priority. We care like family! Emergency department consists of 12 beds and a fast track area. Average patient volume is 80 per day, with over 100 during winter surges. Type of equipment includes GE Optima CT scanner and GE portable x-ray. Documentation system is Meditech and Sectra. Staffing requires flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays. No on-call requirement. Acute Stroke Ready certification needed. Moderate pediatric volume in procedures performed. Normal ER procedures without surgical procedures or biopsies involved. Dress code requires grey scrubs. Unit has a culture of excellent teamwork and high patient experience scores.
