Job Title: CT Tech

Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT CT, BLS
Must-Have: Previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.
First-time travelers accepted.
Description:
The CT Tech will work solo overnight shifts with support from a CT assistant for patient transportation and room turnover.
On weekdays, the schedule is Friday through Sunday, 1900-0700.
Voluntary on-call shifts are appreciated but not required.
The department typically sees an average of 25 cases daily.
The primary patient demographic consists of adults and geriatrics.
The role requires independence during night shifts.
Occasional pediatric cases may arise, but the focus will be on adult patients.
The scanner is located in the emergency department.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is expected.
The technologist will perform various procedures including abdominal scans, chest scans, and vascular CT angiography.
The ability to prepare and administer contrast media is necessary.
Travelers may be expected to float to nearby facilities as needed.
Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays.
References are required covering prior experience within the last three years.
Completion of mandatory training modules is required prior to the start of the assignment.
