Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: Night: 19:30 - 08:00; Day: 08:00 - 08:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty, ED, Inpatient, & Outpatient experience required License: ARRT CT certification; Louisiana State RT licensure required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Epic experience; GE experience; candidate must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing Description: Please ensure traveler is aware of the following. Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. You should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with the above. Candidate expected to float between various settings, including outpatient and emergency department. Scheduling specifics will be discussed during the interview. If workdays fall on holidays, then it is required to work that holiday. The unit does not accept first-time travelers. Charting system experience with Epic is required. Ideal candidates will possess skills in various CT procedures and techniques. Additional skills include 3D rendering, biopsies, and familiarity with GE equipment. Teamwork and flexibility are essential, as staff may float according to patient needs. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census averages around 550 patients. All candidates must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job. The facility does not accept local travelers; candidates must be located 65 miles away. Resources who worked as permanent staff must be separated from the facility for one full year before returning. References will be required for clearance to start the contract. Candidates must ensure that all certifications are current and up to date.
