Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: ARRT required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT) Must-Have: - Experience in Level 1 Trauma - Familiarity with Cerner Description: Position involves performing CT scans for patients in a cardiology setting. The position requires a start time of 7:30 AM and includes weekend coverage every other week. First-time travelers are accepted. There is no call requirement. Clinician will not float to sister facilities. Floating within the scope that meets facility needs is not required. The facility is an acute care institution, teaching hospital, and has a Level 1 trauma designation. Total staff beds at the facility are 228. Patient demographics include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Required skills include performing CT scans without and/or with contrast, biopsies, and myelography. Technician will work in various areas including emergency department and outpatient services. Technician must be proficient in using PACS and starting peripheral IVs.
