Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, Tuesday-Friday Hours per Shift: 7 AM - 5 PM Experience: Minimum of 1 year in CT/PET License: Client Rad Tech License, ARRT (CT) Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: EPIC Experience, Contrast injection experience, GE scanner experience (preferred) Description: COVID vaccinations are strongly encouraged, but not required. Epic experience is required for this position. Candidates must note their COVID vaccination status. All candidates must have their New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate uploaded with their profile. They will not be considered for the position without this license. Candidates must complete a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance. All new and returning agency staff must complete training from a designated group for onboarding and clearance. Responsibilities include performing a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Candidates must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. They should have the ability to obtain intravenous access. Candidates must prioritize and organize their daily workflow effectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills are essential. Basic computer skills are necessary. Any requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified during upload. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. The facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract but must provide 2 hours' notice. The dress code is personal scrubs of any color, without designs or cartoons. No hoodies are allowed. Travelers must have their own vehicle, which is a firm requirement. A work history skills checklist pertinent to the position must be current within 1 year. A supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment is required. All licenses and certifications must be uploaded with the profile and cannot be pending. The permanent address must match the driver's license or state ID. The address will be validated during the compliance process. Travelers from certain counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments.
