Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years preferred, 1 year acceptable with trauma or high acuity center experience License: WA license required Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT CT, BLS Must-Have: All previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. First-time travelers are accepted. On-call availability is appreciated but not required. On nights, only one CT Tech will be working, but there will be a CT assistant available for support. Description: Candidates must have experience in performing CT scans for abdomen, chest, brain, pelvis, and thoracic areas, both with and without contrast. Experience with emergency department procedures is desirable. The workload averages around 25 cases daily, primarily with adults, though occasional pediatric cases may arise. The CT scanner is located in the emergency department. Technicians must be independent and capable of managing a solo overnight shift, which can be busy. Skills in preparation and administration of contrast media and familiarity with relevant systems and equipment are necessary.
