Travel CT Tech - $2,660 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: CT Scan Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year preferable / 6 months Level 1 Trauma required License: South Carolina License required Certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT) Must-Have: Clienttion badge must be provided by agency. Siemens experience and Level 1 Trauma experience required. Description: Agency must supply a radiation badge. This position involves working as a CT Scan Tech. The daily caseload per tech varies per shift and location. The schedule is 4x10 hours, Monday to Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a holiday rotation. There is no on-call requirement. Clinicians may float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs. Travelers are expected to attend all staff meetings. First-time travelers are accepted, provided they have prior experience. Required certifications include BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT). Experience with PIV, Siemens systems, and Level 1 Trauma is required. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval for RTO will depend on unit needs. The facility is allowed to call off one shift every two weeks. The type of facility is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds. Scrub color is teal top and black bottom. Charting is conducted using the Epic system. The facility serves a daily census of 130 patients. The position involves interventional radiology when needed. Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June to November.
