Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years current Imaging/CT experience License: New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Clienttion Therapy License (or equivalent) Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Registration of Radiologic Technologists ARRT Must-Have: MUST HAVE ARRT (CT) CERTIFICATION Ability to work independently and hit the ground running IV skills Description: Under the guidance of the CT clinical supervisor, a trained technologist performs all diagnostic procedures. The technologist possesses knowledge of all pertinent and academic areas to produce consistent, high-quality exams. Collaboration with patients and physicians is essential, maintaining a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. The technologist recognizes that the purpose of their employment is to prioritize the patient as number one. The utmost quality must be delivered in their role as a technologist. Training will enable the technologist to perform all necessary procedures on patients across all age groups. Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable. The patient population includes newborns through geriatric individuals. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must be available during peak holiday periods. A personal vehicle is required as public transport is not available in the area.
