Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years minimum, 5 years preferred License: ARRT CT, ARRT R Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Community hospital experience Epic experience Level II trauma experience Description: CT Technologists perform imaging procedures using computed tomography. They are responsible for patient safety and comfort during scans. They prepare and administer contrast media as needed. They ensure images are of high quality for interpretation. They maintain equipment and assist with routine checks. Experience with trauma cases is essential. Effective communication skills are required for patient interaction. Candidates must be able to work nights and weekends as scheduled. Experience in a Level II trauma center is preferred. Knowledge of radiation safety protocols is necessary. PACS experience is also beneficial.
