Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10-Hour Day/Evening Hours per Shift: Thurs/Fri CT 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Sat/Sun X-Ray 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: WA License Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Must-Have: Ability to start IVs if necessary Description: This role requires a CT Technologist with experience in computed tomography and general X-ray. The technologist will perform a variety of imaging studies, including CT scans with and without contrast of the head, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities. General X-ray responsibilities include chest imaging, PICC line placement, tube placement, and trauma imaging. The department utilizes a Toshiba 64 Slice CT Scanner and a Carestream X-ray room. The technologist will work independently during shifts, especially overnight when they will be the only staff member in the department. An average of 2-6 CT scans and 1-4 X-rays are performed per night. Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson PACS is required. Radiologists are available in-house on specific days, with teleradiology services utilized when not present. There is a requirement to start IVs if the existing ones do not meet necessary conditions, as no RN is available in the department. Scrubs of the technologist's choosing are permitted, and no call is required for this position.
