Travel CT Tech - $2,717 per week in Port Angeles, WA

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Computed Tomography Specialty: CT/XRay Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in radiology preferred. One year of experience in a secondary specialty preferred. Thorough knowledge of specialty theory and application, including concepts, procedures, safety precautions, and effects. Demonstrated skill and ability to perform high-quality procedures in the relevant imaging modalities. Experience or knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy preferred for CT and MRI specialties. For Mammography Specific: Two years of experience in mammography imaging and diagnostic procedures preferred. Experience in radiology imaging preferred. Experience with electronic patient information systems and/or mammography tracking systems preferred. License: Current ARRT registry required. Certification required for at least two specialties, one of which must be bone density, CT, quality management, special procedures, or mammography. Certifications: BLS Certification required. Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) required. Must-Have: Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training. Description: This position involves working on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 1900 to 0730. A strong commitment to providing high-quality imaging services is essential. Candidate must be able to maintain effective communication with patients and staff. Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to perform procedures safely is required. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, acute care setting is important. The technologist must be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A focus on patient care and comfort during imaging procedures is essential. Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary for this role. Ongoing education and adherence to professional standards are expected. Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure is required.
