Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Perform advanced CT imaging procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head scans with and without contrast
• Prepare and administer contrast media following safety protocols
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment from various manufacturers
• Ensure compliance with all facility-required training and certification standards

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Minimum 1 year of recent hands-on CT experience
• New York State license
• BLS Certification
• ARRT CT certification preferred, but not mandatory
• Injection certification on the license to perform contrast CT exams
