Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and required Siemens equipment proficiency for a Level I trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting within Radiology/Cardiology CT department
• Adult acute care, Emergency Department, and ICU patient populations
• Performs CT imaging including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
• Special procedures include brain perfusion and vascular CTA imaging
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS imaging system
• Utilizes Epic for charting
• 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with variable days of the week
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call required approximately 2 shifts per month
• May float within scope to meet facility needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required, including Siemens equipment experience
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• WA state radiology license required if applicable
• Level I Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Peripheral IV starting skills preferred

Additional Information

• Performs abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT imaging with and without contrast
• Solid color scrubs accepted, with facility-provided light blue scrubs also available
• COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions
• First-time travelers accepted for this role
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restriction
• Prior facility staff must have 18 months separation before returning as a traveler
• Minimal RTO accommodated, with no time off permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
