Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: Saturday/Sunday 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM and Tuesday 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: 2+ years current CT Tech experience in a hospital setting License: New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Clienttion Therapy License (or equivalent) Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT Must-Have: - Proficient and highly experienced in fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR C-arm - Experience with all age groups - Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: Positions patients on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by Physician. Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. Moves radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance. Operates film processing equipment. Operates mobile radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment in the operating room, emergency room, or at patient's bedside. Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff. Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills. Dress code: hospital blue scrubs provided, business casual with a lab coat, basic plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts. Closed toe shoes such as sneakers or clogs. Hair must be worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length, with no dangling earrings. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted. Previous travel experience preferred.
