Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - General Imaging Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: State Licensure not required Certifications: BLS; ARRT(R) for Radiologic Technologist Must-Have: Ability to perform a variety of imaging procedures across multiple patient types Description: About the Facility: 46 Licensed Beds Trauma IV Designation Teaching Hospital Chest Pain Center Stroke Center Travelers must have a permanent address that is 50 miles outside their home unit. Department Information: Will accept first-time travelers. Will see a variety of diagnoses across ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas. Required Certifications: All modalities will require photo ID collected during the compliance process. BLS is required for all. Radiologic Technologist must have BLS and ARRT(R). CT Technologist must have BLS and ARRT(R)(CT). Dual Modality CT/DX must have BLS and ARRT(R)(CT). MRI Technologist must have BLS and ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR). Ultrasound Technologist must have BLS and ARDMS (no specific anatomy certification required) or ARRT. Nuclear Medicine Technologist must have BLS and ARRT-N or NMTCB. Skills required: Varies based on modality discussed during the interview. Support within the Department: Nursing assistance and transport support available. Technology/Equipment: EMR system: EPIC Department-specific equipment: Siemens, GE Floating: Not applicable. Scheduling: Weekend rotation depends on position discussed during the interview. Call requirements depend on modality discussed during the interview. Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays. Requests for time off must receive manager approval. Shift times vary based on modality, which will be listed on the request form. Schedule cycle is every four weeks. Other notes: Scrub color is black.
