Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Current state license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R Must-Have: - Experience with GE equipment within the last year - Efficient in Stroke Protocol - Must float between emergency and main CT Description: The CT Tech will work Monday through Friday. This position requires performing CT scans with a focus on the abdomen, chest, brain, and vascular areas. Experience with 3D rendering techniques and contrast administration is necessary. The candidate should be able to multitask in a high-volume environment. Experience with charting systems, particularly EPIC, is essential. The position may require call availability. The tech will need to float between emergency and main CT departments. The ability to identify and resolve problems independently is important. The tech is expected to adhere to hospital policies and protocols. Flexibility in scheduling and department workflow is required. Strong critical thinking skills are necessary for protocol development and implementation. Trustworthiness and dependability are key qualities. The tech will be required to handle patient care for a diverse age group including neonates and geriatrics. Daily patient census ranges from 150 to 200. The candidate should be prepared for a variety of patient diagnoses and procedures. Experience with both Level I and Level II trauma is preferred.
