Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours (11:30 AM - 8:00 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License: Compact or Louisiana license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT) required Must-Have: - Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient experience - Epic experience - GE equipment experience - No first-time travelers accepted - Willingness to work holidays Description: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, the unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract, you accept this and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. You should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with the above conditions. All candidates must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing the contract. Previous charge experience and trauma level experience are beneficial. You will be expected to float between various departments, including the Emergency Department and outpatient clinics within walking distance. Please ensure your NURSYS report is updated within 4 weeks of submission. Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from the system for one full year before they can return as travelers. Modules are completed during orientation and factored into the hours.
