The role involves performing basic CT scans. Candidates must have level 1 trauma experience and previous travel experience. They should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high patient volume and acuity. Experience with GE CT scanners is required. The technologist will be expected to start IVs as part of their responsibilities. Weekend requirements include every third weekend. The department utilizes electronic medical records and PACS. No call or holiday shifts are required. Scrub colors can include solid options and some prints. Department-specific orientation will be provided as needed.
