Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Tech Specialty: CT Scan Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 36 Hours Variable Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) required Must-Have: - CTA studies experience - IV start skills preferred - Experience with Toshiba and GE preferred Description: Start needed as soon as possible. Interviews will be conducted, first with a simplified process followed by a second interview with the manager. There may be cross coverage in X-ray if needed, particularly during weekends and overnight in cases of PTO coverage. Imaging services will primarily care for adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases. Outpatient services include oncology, general abdominal pain, post-surgical, trauma, and biopsies (training will be provided if needed). An average of 25-30 scans are performed daily. Support on the unit includes a lead technologist and additional technologists during weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Internal transport and on-site radiologist support will be available. The Electronic Medical Record system used is Cerner, with PACS being Enterprise Imaging AGFA. The equipment includes Siemens X.Cite and GE 16 slice PET CT, with preference for experience with Siemens and GE machines. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, with weekend rotations and varying shift needs, as the department operates 24/7. No call is required, and holiday responsibilities will be rotated among technologists. Scrub color should be a solid, professional color or provided by the facility.
