Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: FRI/SAT/SUN 7a-7:30p Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1-year Radiology experience required License: Licensed by the State Clienttion Control Board Certifications: ARRT Registered- RT (R) or RT (N) Must-Have: ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred Description: Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and Operations Manager. Uses prescribed levels of ionizing radiation. Carries out all activities according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures. Works with a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age. Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts. Able to insert and remove IVs. Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred. If no CT License at time of hire, the Technologist has one year to obtain the CT License. BLS certified.
