Position: CT Technologist
Location: San Bernardino
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 3×12
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay:$2800 to $3000
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
Prepare patients for CT examinations by reviewing medical history, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort
Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images
Safely administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Operate CT scanners and imaging equipment while maintaining exceptional image quality
Evaluate completed images for diagnostic accuracy before submitting them for radiologist interpretation
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS
Follow radiation safety practices, infection prevention standards, and departmental policies
Perform routine equipment quality control checks and report maintenance issues promptly
Provide compassionate care during routine, urgent, and emergency imaging procedures
Requirements
Active California Radiologic Technologist License
ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred or required by the facility
Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
Current BLS Certification required
Experience performing a wide range of CT procedures in an acute care hospital
Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, contrast administration, and radiation safety
Experience using PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
