CT Technologist | San Bernardino, CA | 13 Weeks Contract

  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: Night Shift
  • Schedule: 3×12
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Weekly Pay:$2800 to $3000
Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Prepare patients for CT examinations by reviewing medical history, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort
  • Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images
  • Safely administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Operate CT scanners and imaging equipment while maintaining exceptional image quality
  • Evaluate completed images for diagnostic accuracy before submitting them for radiologist interpretation
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS
  • Follow radiation safety practices, infection prevention standards, and departmental policies
  • Perform routine equipment quality control checks and report maintenance issues promptly
  • Provide compassionate care during routine, urgent, and emergency imaging procedures
Requirements
  • Active California Radiologic Technologist License
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) required
  • ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred or required by the facility
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Experience performing a wide range of CT procedures in an acute care hospital
  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, contrast administration, and radiation safety
  • Experience using PACS and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
