Job Opportunity – CT / X-Ray Technologist – South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: South Lake Tahoe, California – nestled on the south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe at nearly 6,200 feet above sea level

Schedule: 10-hour variable shifts, 40 guaranteed hours per week. Specific scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.

Highlights:

• Work in a stunning mountain setting at a community hospital and Level III Trauma Center
• Perform diagnostic CT scans, CTA procedures, and radiographic exams with modern equipment including Siemens Perspective 64-slice CT and Philips digital X-Ray systems
• Average of 40 scans per day, with 15-20 scans per shift; night shift primarily handles emergency department cases
• Opportunity to assist with interventional procedures and occasional float to orthopedic clinics for X-Ray support
• 89-day assignment with comprehensive support and onboarding
• Serve both residents and visitors in a dynamic, non-profit community health system

Requirements:

• ARRT (R) registry as Radiologic Technologist required
• ARRT (CT) registration required
• California X-Ray Technologist (CRT) license required
• California Fluoroscopy license required (may be pending at start but must be obtained within 3 months)
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in both CT and X-Ray specialties
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Provider)
• Ability to complete all CT modality competency forms
• Candidate must be aware of oral swab testing for THC metabolites on day one
